CPAW NJ June 2018 News

NJ Cat Rescue

So the big news is that thanks to YOUR SUPPORT and the SUPPORT of our PAWTNERS, we celebrated our first birthday this month! With the work we did in May, we now have spayed/neutered 293 cats, rescued 100 kittens, and donated food to both community cat caregivers and local food pantries and pet owners totaling 28,609 meals!

We could not do what we do without your support, both volunteering, in kind donations, and financial support. In order to showcase what your money helps us do, check out our new “Charity Gift Catalog” and see the “gifts” we need in order to keep helping people and helping cats for another year — https://cpawnj.org/giving/

IT’S NOT HOW MUCH YOU GIVE BUT HOW MUCH LOVE YOU PUT INTO GIVING!

Trapping Doppleganger….look at this beautiful boy below! Well his Mom and CPAW NJ went thru many days of trying to trap him and finally with a much bigger drop trap we were successful! He is now back in his Montclair yard happy as ever and eating up a storm. TNVR requires a lot of patience and sometimes a few tries before it works, but in the end the health benefits to the cat, the public AND the lives saved makes each and every spay/neuter worth the effort. Thanks!

Calendar of Events

We can always use some extra paws at any event….and we need you to come and hug kittens and bring a shower gift at our special Kitten Shower/Adoption Event at one of our pawtners, Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital, on Sunday, June 24 from noon to 3 pm. And don’t forget to join our tribe as we proudly march in the 4th of July Parade. Email us at cpawnj@gmail.com for meetup details.
