Lil Jack Sparrow!
Lil Jack came from a very large outdoor colony that desperately needed help. We were notified by a neighbor of 2 very young kittens with major eye issues. We rescued them and had them examined by our vet Lil Jack had an eye infection so severe that the eyeball had ruptured.
Despite being 1.2 lbs the vet felt he needed immediate surgery to prevent the infection from taking over his body. So we agreed, and many of you responded to help pay for the operation. He came thru surgery fine! and after having this life-saving surgery he immediately began playing and eating.
What a miracle! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.
LESSON and MOVING FORWARD: so many cats are born outside with no chance for survival. We want to save them all, don’t we? But since we can’t right now, we are working to get our kitten crew forever homes and replenish our funds so that we can pay the vet bills from the kittens we have rescued during this spring’s trap, neuter, vaccinate, return (TNVR) efforts. And raise funds to continue our main mission of TNVR…
